No Cold Calling Survey

24th January 2016:

The results of the survey showed that the majority in two areas of the parish were in favour of the scheme and  No Door Step Selling Zones are to be set up in Main Street and Upper Pollicott.

The purpose of 'No Cold Calling' zones is to discourage cold callers from specific residential areas, usually a street or small cluster of houses. The introduction of the scheme provides householders with the opportunity to collectively discourage the practice of cold calling. Before any 'No Cold Calling' zone can be introduced the majority of residents must be in agreement.

The purpose of this survey is to get your opinion with regard to your area of Ashendon. Please complete this survey online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ashendon_no_cold_calling, or complete and return a hard copy to The Clerk, Ashendon Parish Council, Prospect Cottage, The Green, Chearsley, Bucks. HP18 0DJ.

It will be assumed that if no reply has been received by Monday 12th December 2016, that you will accept the general opinion in your area of residence.
